The BEET-tv emerged as a student-run series from Florida A&M University.
The entertainment program aired weekly on the university’s television channel (FAMU TV-20), reaching homes in the greater Tallahassee area, which includes more than 80,000 households in parts of the North Florida and South Georgia region. BEET-tv featured a segment titled “Avant Grande,” which gave upcoming music artists a platform to showcase their art and discuss their upbringing.
